Scattered Perspectives of Time
A series of experimental screen works
Some mind twisting that I have been twisting my mind with!
Kant defines time as the priori form of intuition; time is the “form of everything that changes or moves” and so time no longer extends but encompasses succession, duration, and simultaneity as its modes. “With Kant” Deleuze writes “ time ceases to be ordinary or derived, to become the pure form of interiority, which hollows us out, which splits us, at the price of a vertigo, an oscillation that constitutes time; the synthesis of time changes direction by constituting it as an insurmountable abstraction” (Flaxman,p4. The Brain is the screen, Deleuze1986)

Kant regards an intuition as a conscious, objective representation—this is strictly distinct from sensation, which he regards not as a representation of an object, property, event, etc., but merely as a state of the subject. Whereas sensations do not represent anything distinct from the sensing subject (including perhaps the state of the subject’s body), intuitions are objective representations.[2] Recent scholarship emphasizes the importance of his distinction between sensation and intuition (Allais 2015, 145–47, 154, 159–60).
